General instruction
The high efficiency energy saving RED DRAGON pumps are specially made for large aquariums or selling units.
The material we use to build these pumps is 100 % saltwater resistent.
Even by usage as immersion pump there is no measurably water heating-up. The optimized pump head geometry combined with world wide patented drive concept respective the start-up electronic, enables a high flow to over 12000 l/h on very low current consumption, for example 12000 RED DRAGON pump on 1m conveyor height, consumes only 109 watt (look at the output curve).
Although the high efficient the RED DRAGON pump is utterly quiet, because there are no fan blades to cool down the pump.
The RED DRAGON pump is designed for a usage in living rooms and low noise systems.
Installation instruction:
Please make sure that water can flow unimpeded to the suction pipe and protect the suction side with a sieve against coarsely particles like sand or filter batting threads.
On the pressure side it is recommend to fit a ball valve, so youŽll be able to limit the flow and if a system failure appears you can split the pump form the system. Therefore you had to fit a corresponding valve at the suction side.
RED DRAGON:
Red Dragon magnet centrifugal pump are designed for internal and external usage.
All applied materials are saltwater resistant and no substances delivered to the water. The only metal pieces on the pump are four titan screws on the pump head.
External usage:
Search for a proper place to mount the pump, use 90° elbow as few as possible to minimize the power loss.
If possible use bend instead of elbows and couple the pump with flex silicon tubes to reduce vibration transmission that make it possible to become leaky. A coupling set is available that contains two silicon tubes
four titan worm drive clamp. With this coupling set you have chosen the best way to operate the pump failure-free and utterly quiet.
Internal usage:
Put the pump into the sump and install it to your tubes with our coupling set for internal usage. It include two silicon tubes, two titan worm drive clamps and two plastic clamps.
RED DRAGON submersible version:
This version is the same as above. To mount it on a glass pane you can buy a vibration damped, height adjustable holding device as accessory part.
Maintenance:
RED DRAGON pumps are on more right usage almost maintenance-free.
In case the flow should slowdown therefore particles be caught by the propeller, you had to remove it. For this you had to pull up the pump head from the engine (4 screws on the front) and take off the propeller. Be carefully of the strong magnetically power and a sensitive ceramic axle!
On assembling please notice that the pilot-nose on the plate of the magnetic rotor suited to the proper holes and screw the pump head to the engine block.
The screws had to turned crosswise for a balanced contact pressure to the O-ring seal please screw it not to tightly.(plastic-nuts) Never unscrew the 4 rear, black plastic screws.
If your tank is a SPS only tank, and you apply massive lime water you had to decalcify at frequent intervals.
Therefore we recommend the use of our special decalcify-medium.

By the usage of ROYAL CALZIUM_CLEANER you had the certitude to use a medium that donŽt damage the differentially plastics and materials that applied in the RED DRAGON pumps. Beyond this medium is for multiple use, up to 20 times depending on the calcification grade.
Warranty :
ROYAL-EXCLUSIV warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (2) years from the date of original retail purchase.
If a defect exists, at its option ROYAL-EXCLUSIV
will repair the product at no charge using new or refurbished replacement parts, exchange the products with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.
Products must be returned to ROYAL-EXCLUSIV
freight collect.

and its authorized dealers are not liable for any damage or loss to housing or animal life living in aquariums.
Exclusions and Limitations :
This warranty does not apply to damage caused by running the pump dry, sand or abrasive material in the water, or by
improper electrical supply, improper installation, careless handling, misuse or negligence.
All so calcification in the pump and therefor resulting damage like engine damage.
You lost the warrenty immediately if the original connector plug was cropped.
Use of incompatible spare parts for example build in a impeller for a 12000 l/h pump in a 10000 l/h pump. Wear parts like bearing or bearing bush, axis damage, propeller damage coused by peaces sucked in. Engine damage thru flow reduction on suction side. Genneral decalcify damage by improper use of a decalcification medium.
